About Our    steo

Nancy graduated from the British School Of Osteopathy in London in 2011 (now the University College of Osteopathy) - the best University for Osteopathy in Europe. She studied obstetrics, cranial and visceral osteopathy alongside the biomechanics content, and has a special interest in sports and pregnancy. She immediately started the domiciliary practice (seeing patients in their own homes), and undertook the Animal Osteopathy course with the OCA, enabling her to treat horses and dogs.

She has been treating patients for over a decade at clinics throughout the midlands and in their own homes! She has recently undertaken the Community First Responder course with EMAS, is insured by the Institute of Osteopathy, and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

Nancy recently moved to Norfolk with her 5 year old son; dog, Lexi; and cat, Simba; although is regularly back in the midlands seeing family and friends and running monthly clinics for her patients in the area.

She enjoys running, horse riding, and family days out at the beach!

steopathy

Osteopathy is a way of detecting, treating and preventing health problems by using a range of techniques to affect a person's muscles and joints.

Osteopathy is based on the principle that the wellbeing of an individual depends on their bones, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.

Osteopaths use physical manipulation, stretching and massage with the aim of:

  • increasing the mobility of joints

  • relieving muscle tension

  • enhancing blood supply to the tissues

  • helping the body to heal

In the UK, Osteopathy is a health profession regulated by UK law.
